About Pearson’s Falls
Pearson’s Falls has become one of the crown jewels of Western North Carolina. More than 20,000 people visit the 90-foot cascade each year! This beautiful waterfall is located on a 268-acre botanical preserve full of rushing streams, rock formations, and towering trees.
Not only is Pearson’s Falls a stunning natural attraction, it is also a wildlife and bird sanctuary. In the 268 acres that make up the park, there are more than 300 species of wildflowers and plants. During the summer, you can see pops of color from the wildflowers that line the trails. Pack a picnic to enjoy underneath the shade of a tree and take it all in!
Visiting Pearson’s Falls
Whether you’re an avid hiker or just enjoy being in the great outdoors, you’ll love Pearson’s Falls. The trail to get to the falls is only about a quarter of a mile, and it has been worn down over time to create a very easy path to follow. Because Pearson’s Falls and Glen is a private park, there is a small admission feeDon’t let this deter you; it’s worth it! Adults over the age of 13 are $5 each, children of ages 6-12 are $1, and children under the age of 6 are free.
Are Pets Allowed?
Unfortunately, you’ll have to leave your furry friend at home. Orchard Inn allows pets, though! If you always travel with your dog, you are welcome to stay in our Twin Poplar Cottage
